My baby is 2!!

Today is a special day. My baby boy is 2 years old today. I am just in awe of him. He is learning so much on a daily basis. New words. New actions. Each of them reminding me of how much and how closely he watches everything we do. It is also a simple reminder of how God watches over us. There are so many times you don't think he sees you (he = baby boy) - and yet he does. Just like God sees everything and carefully watches over us, even when we don't think He is there.

God has truly blessed Sam and I with a precious baby - who is now a toddler!

Sometimes I just sit back and watch him as he is playing with his blocks or "reading" his books. It is just amazing. He is seeing everything for the first time. Figuring out how the blocks go together for the first time. Seeing how far he can "push" mom before he really gets in trouble. Riding a bike for the first time. So many firsts. I wish there was a way to capture each one.
